Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and history taking.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, documenting all findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication compliance, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new grads with BSN may be considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
