Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and assessment in accordance with facility protocols and state nursing laws.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient vital signs, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond immediately to any changes in status or medical emergencies.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Computer proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
