Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients' medical histories and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care and preventative measures.
- Respond to medical emergencies with composure, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Document all care activities and patient observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Assist in the recovery of patients and ensure their safety and comfort at all times.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Maryland.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Entry Level).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
