Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and clinical support in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
- Monitor patient health and progress, documenting vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition accurately.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to strict infection control guidelines.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in triage procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing or California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred for California roles.
- Experience: New graduates are welcome! Previous clinical rotation experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
