Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs by collecting, recording, and analyzing patient data.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Document all patient care services accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide health education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to adapt to flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn EHR systems.
