Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and general condition accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following strict safety protocols.
- Document patient care plans, updates, and any changes in condition in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Assist with wound care, hygiene, and mobility support as required.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the state of California (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Recent graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ASN, BSN, or Diploma).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Basic computer literacy and EHR experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient mobility.
