Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans utilizing the nursing process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation).
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred for certain units.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced, dynamic medical environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient safety.
