Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and monitor vital signs under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and treatment outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in maintaining a safe, sterile environment.
- Comfort & Support: Offer emotional support to patients and families during critical times, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN or BSN).
- Licensure: Valid, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required; we welcome new graduates and offer comprehensive training.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
