Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, discharge planning, and health maintenance.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
