Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient symptoms, medical histories, and reactions to medications.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurses.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care and health management.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by adhering to strict hygiene and protocol standards.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and medical updates accurately.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- Current, valid RN License in the State of New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
