Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized patient care plans.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment progress accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on post-care instructions and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications are required.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
