Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Monitor and respond to patient changes in condition with appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or compact license with active application)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
