Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, Med-Surg, and telemetry units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Manage emergency situations calmly and effectively using critical thinking skills
- Maintain patient records with precision and confidentiality
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs as assigned during shifts
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to accept shifts across Atlanta metro facilities
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence
- Computer proficiency with EMR systems (Epic/Meditech experience a plus)
- Pass background check and drug screening
