Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care and clinical assessment.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (or willing to obtain compact license).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical record systems (EMR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to float to various units based on facility needs.
