Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff in administering medication and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical care situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Adapt to various units and flexible shift schedules as required.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
