Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs in accordance with medical protocols.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Document patient medical records, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Respond to emergency situations with calmness and adherence to hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or New York (or eligibility to obtain).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in patient advocacy.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer literacy and ability to use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
