Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland (or eligible for Compact State privileges).
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and privacy (HIPAA compliance).
