Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse medical units and specializations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to emergent situations and changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the District of Columbia or Virginia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
