Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-care instructions.
- Respond to emergency situations with composure and execute critical nursing interventions.
- Uphold clinical standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN License in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Compassionate demeanor and a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
- Ability to work in a remote or hybrid capacity while maintaining high-quality care standards.
