Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress continuously, escalating critical issues immediately to the care team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with facility policies and legal requirements.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
