Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status to identify changes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with nursing protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
