Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and clinical protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vitals and assess health status, documenting accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking and composure
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kentucky
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment skills and proficiency in clinical documentation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
