Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, alerting the healthcare team to any changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for rotating shifts.
