Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and change patient conditions.
- Document patient care services in medical records in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
