Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms to detect any changes that require immediate attention.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care services in medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
