Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads welcome with bridge programs).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including rotating shifts and weekends as needed.
- Commitment to high standards of patient safety and care quality.
