Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health status and intervene immediately in critical situations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities, vital signs, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
