Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans utilizing nursing processes (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Document patient care services, including symptoms, reactions, and progress in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, health promotion, and recovery instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
- Degree in Nursing (BSN, ASN, or equivalent).
