Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established medical standards and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms continuously, reporting any changes immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
