Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and clinical assistance in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and medical histories accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop optimal treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions and health maintenance.
- Maintain a sterile environment and strictly adhere to all hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
