Responsibilities
Your Key Duties
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient history and clinical notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healing environment for all patients.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates welcome).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
