Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as necessary.
