Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments of patient health status and identify nursing diagnoses.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records and patient documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blue situations and critical patient emergencies.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease processes, home care instructions, and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active RN license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; CNA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
