Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document medical histories accurately.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital protocols, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Nebraska.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.
