Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Vital Monitoring: Monitor patients' critical signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate, responding swiftly to any changes.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and legal standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure continuity of care and patient education.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, charts, and reports.
- Crisis Management: Respond to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions during critical events.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications must be current.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and strong critical thinking skills.
