Responsibilities
- Assess and Monitor: Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
- Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a primary advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected.
- Educational Support: Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid, unencumbered RN license in the state of Kansas.
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS required for Telemetry/ICU roles).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
