Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical progress.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the District of Columbia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (New Grads welcome with relevant internship experience).
- Strong computer proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic patient care and support.
