Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop effective care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and accidents.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Michigan.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for home health or travel nursing roles).
