Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
- Monitor patient health and response to treatment, documenting vital signs and changes in condition accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (new graduates with strong clinical rotations are considered).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary, adhering to proper body mechanics.
