Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and discharge planning.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Uphold strict infection control and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN License in the state of Illinois or Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
