Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status to ensure immediate intervention when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license issued by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
