Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to interventions, alerting physicians of any changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med/Surg experience highly preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
