Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient health and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professional licensure and adhere to hospital policies.
