Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Document patient progress and clinical notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond promptly to code blue and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
