Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all hospital safety and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee (or eligible for licensure).
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
