Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical care situations with composure and clinical expertise.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
