Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vitals and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assess patient conditions and document accurate medical records and observations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred for new grads).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
