Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population during the night shift.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document all care activities accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving interventions.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety regulations, and HIPAA standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to a positive unit culture.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
