Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications with precision
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations during night shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs while maintaining regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska RN license (compact license preferred)
- BSN degree or equivalent nursing certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs during night shifts
