Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications during overnight hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
- Coordinate patient discharges and admissions during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license with valid BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities for night shift collaboration
- BSN degree preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Ability to adapt to dynamic overnight care environments
